1. People are now realizing how big of an issue bullying really is because "thousands of children go to school every day filled with fear." ( Coloroso, 1) 

2. In order to break the cycle of bullying, "it requires that we examine why and how a child becomes a bully or a target of a bully." (Coloroso, 2)

3. A lot of suicides could have been prevented if we can learn about bullying because "if it can be learned, it can be examined and it can be changed." (coloroso, 3)

4. Bullied victims can be so afraid to go to school and face his attacker because the bully can become "more physically aggressice and threatens more harm in order to instill terror in his target." (Coloroso, 7)

5. Some parents think that to "explain the behavior of the bully" is a good thinkg but you are really telling your child that they are in this situation alone.

This book explains how everyone in a school enviroment can be somehow linked together in the bullying situation. The person who is a bystander always has the choice whether or not to step in and to stop the bullying. In the book, that one move explains how it can change the cycle of bullying.

Author or Editor: Who is the author? What training have they had? If there is no author, examine the editor.
 The author is a speaker on parenting, teaching and nonviolent resolution. She also has training in sociology and special education.

This book is just informative but wants people to know how they can reduce bullying.

3. In the past, bullying was not a big issue and was just seen as something that happened to teenagers but "bullying is now recognized as an important contributor to youth violence and bullycide." (Carpenter, 7)

Deborah Carpenter wrote this book when she found out that her son was being bullied when he was four years old and started writing this book to help other parents deal with their child being bullied. She went to different sources and started to do research to provide as much information as possible. She talks about different types of bullying and how each bullying can affect a child differently.

According to the author, she is a mother who had children that were being bullied but she got most of her information from different resources.

The author wanted to be informative on the issue of bullying but she also wanted people to be aware of this issue and on how they can help reduce it.

The author is biased towards trying to stop bullying in schools and other enviroments.

Yes there are references in this writing so it adds to the credibility.

I will use this source in my project my saying how all kids are affected by bullying and that it can have a very bad effect on them when they grow older.
